Zaku Cannon Complete and thoughts
I have mixed feelings about my build. Yes, it looks good, and that I am pleased of. But the flexibility, especially in the ankles, leaves a lot to be desired. Considering the source models, it should've been expected. The model will do. The most important thing about this experience is that lessons were learned to be applied on further models. Will have to acquire a RG Zaku II for the next project, MS-06D Zaku Desert Type. I got some further odds and ends to do on this model yet. I'll take better pics with some poses it is capable of doing.

Of Dodges, Lakotas, Sauropeltas, Weasels and etc.
When it comes to modeling the significant vehicles that make an appearance in various Gundam series that take place during and after the One Year War, the situation one can find themselves in can pose a problem. Getting Wappas, hover trucks, Type 61's, Magella Attack tanks and some of the well know aircraft are easy enough to find, but finding Lakotas, Sauropeltas, Weasels, and Magella Eins can be a challenge. In true wargaming fashion, don't panic, improvise!
The Dodges
Vehicles of 1/160 scale fit well with gunpla. On the left, we have the stand-in for the Feddie's Lakotas, a Dodge 3/4 tonner. On the right, we used the Dodge command car for the stand in for the Zeon's Sauropelta.
Weasels
This one here has caused a fair amount of stress to find a substitute for. It is unbelievable how hard it is to find a 6x6 armored car that has a turret and looks like it had troop carrying capability. Well, you don't have to stress out like I had to. The answer to most of your vehicles problems can be answered with... MICRO MACHINES!
Turret is a bit big but it has 6 wheels, similar shape, and it looks like it can carry troops. Until Bandai decides to make a Zeon Ground War set like they made for the Federation, these will have to do.
Magella Eins
The Magilla Eins from MS igloo was easy enough, looks sorta like a Merkava, so, we found some 1/144 scale Merkavas.

Cold Wars 2016.
Okay people, listen up! on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 9 AM at the Lancaster Host and Resort, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Gravity Front will be once again present. So come all pilots. Come and offer us your feedback.
Barrage 2015
The following is from Barrage 2015.
Turn 1. The Feddies have to push Zeon off of the ridge to keep the town safe.
Already, things go bad as a guncannon and GM Ground Combat Type go down.
Norris Packard in the Gouf has landed in front of the Guntank. Can he get it before either the Zaku, Sniper or the Guntank can react?
Nope. The Guntank bought it.
With Feddie Mobile Suits being knocked out, this brave GM Striker will try to stop the Zeke's.
It was short lived. The Zeons proved too much and won the day. Again.
Bel Air Games 2015
A MASSIVE game from July at Bel Air Games. The idea was to secure this bridge but the Wappa's proved to be nasty buggers.
The Wappa's stopped the column cold.
The tanks pushed on with the mobile suits behind them.
The game proved disastrous to the Feddies and they withdrew.
Cold Wars 2015
The following are from Cold Wars 2014; our first public outing of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Gravity Front.
Initial set-up. A strong Earth Federation force is being sent to the town to relief a badly outnumbered force as the entire Zeon force will advance to the town and capture it.
Turn 1: Combat has already begun in the town.
Turn 2. Zeon has already entered the town as the Federation struggle to push in.
With defenses rapidly crumbling, the GM Striker is their only hope as Zeon Infantry are prepared to cross the river.
End of game. Zeon secured the town and kept the Feddies at bay. The game was enjoyed by all.
